I totally loved working with this family, photographing their sweet little girl. She is the first for this couple and she immediately had them all totally enchanted! Already her little personality is showing through! She has a strong spirit and is going to be a strong young lady. I look forward to watching her grow!

Kris and Lori celebrated their 20th anniversary by getting married! The change in our state law allowed them to finally say “I do”! What a beautiful wedding it was! We have known this couple for several years and it was as if they were falling in love all over again. It was so sweet to see calm, cool, and collected Lori be nervous just before the ceremony, and to see the room filled with love and support for the couple.
The wedding took place in the Fox Island Chapel. The rain cleared, and a beam of light illuminated the chapel just as they exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful thing!
We wish them all the best for the next 20 years and beyond!

I had been looking forward to Lerian and Eddie’s wedding for so long! I just knew Lerian was going to be a beautiful bride. And Eddie – what a sweet heart! He is just adorable, and so funny! Sure enough – the wedding was beautiful, the weather was wonderful, and Lerian was gorgeous! The hoopla started with the ladies getting ready at the Hampton Inn and the guys getting ready at the Fairmount Inn in Bremerton. The ceremony was at the church in Jackson Park and then back to Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside for the reception. The ceremony had all the traditional trappings, as did the reception. So many friends and family were involved in the ceremony. What fun!

Lerian and Eddie are such a wonderful couple – so easy to work with and so fun to be around. I wish I could have been there!

Thanks so much to Saleina Epperson for stepping in for me at the last moment due to an emergency. It is awesome to have other photographers around that have your back! I have to admit, I was a bit jealous as I went through the images created by Ned Ahrens and Salenia, of the day. It looks like I missed an awesome day!

Starting a new journey-Bremerton Maternity Session | Bremerton Family and newborn portrait photography

Like so many of the couples I do maternity sessions for, this is Bill and Lynda’s first baby and their excitement is just contagious! Lynda is the poster child for the glow of pregnancy! She is just gorgeous!

This is such a fun time to photograph a family! There is so much expectation, hope, and happiness! It is quite adorable and I just love it!

I am so looking forward to doing the newborn session with this new family! Check back in a few weeks to meet their new little girl!

We spent a some time getting to know Megan and Tim a couple of weeks ago to get some images for an engagement session, before Megan was sent off to Djibouti in Africa. When she gets back, Megan and Tim are looking forward to a 2014 wedding.We pray that Megan stays safe and comes back healthy! These two were so sweet and so in love. We wish them all the best.

It was so fun to photograph little Logan and her mom and daddy. Logan is still pretty little for her age so she fit very snugly in her daddy’s arms and is quite the contrast to he tattoos. I love it when we can incorporate some of the family heritage into the photos as we did with the red scarf and dad’s tattoos. It makes the images so much more personal. Such a sweet little girl and fun little family! Congratulations to you guys!

Friends introduced Bob and Naydene. Somehow they just knew romance would bloom with these two. They were right! It is clear these two belong together. They just compliment each other so well! So – surrounded by their friends- these two made it official. It was among the sweetest weddings we have seen! The two took a moment to tell their wedding party why they were chosen and what they meant to them. Then, they went on to tell each other what they meant to each other. So touching and beautiful! Michelle and Joe – engaged | Kiana Lodge wedding photographer

As we entered the old lodge at Kiana Lodge on that rainy day a few weeks ago, it was as if we dropped back in time a few decades. There was Joe – dressed to the nines – looking like he was getting ready to film a scene from the Godfather -Northwest version! I loved that Joe dressed in his “gangster” best – including the hat, and that his lady – Michelle matched him style for style! We are so looking forward to Joe and Michelle’s wedding at Kiana Lodge in May. These two are so much fun!
They also braved the rain for some cool weather shots. These two rock! Congratulations guys!

AJ and Tremal had a beautiful wedding despite the rain, wind and even a little snow last week. The two were not quite used to the chill in the air, since they came up from a much warmer Texas, but they managed to keep each other warm for some fun photos with the Christmas lights.

Dan and Eleanor and their guests had an awesome time at their unique wedding on 12-12-12. Instead of a first dance, these two free spirits played Rock Band and invited their guests to join them. They had home brew, a potluck, and pie and donuts instead of cake. They waited a long time for this wedding and they wanted it to reflect their style – and it did. Congratulations to Dan and Eleanor!
