I love doing senior portraits! We have so much fun! Rain delayed us a couple of times this Spring, but we were finally able to get in Dylan’s session. Here are some of his favorites. It was hard to pick just a few! He made a great model.
We are at the tail end of the 2014 senior portrait season, but I could squeeze in one more if you hurry! 2015 seniors start booking now for your summer and fall senior portrait sessions. You can get a 10% discount if you book for a weekday in the summer! Call me! 360-710-1435!

Sean and Schelie had the green and orange on full display for their St.Patrick’s weekend wedding in Port Gamble. The guys wore kilts and a bag piper piped guests into the wedding, out of the church and into the reception. All that was missing is someone singing to “Oh Danny Boy”! The luck of the Irish will surely follow these two as they start their new journey! Best wishes to you both!

Brianna may have grown up in Shoreline, but she and Brian have traveled the world as crew members on Carnival Cruises. They have been to many, many ports of call, tropical and otherwise. But when it came time for these world travelers to choose a place for their wedding, they chose our own Port Gamble! Their family and friends flew in and made a weekend of it. And such a sweet wedding it was. Filled with song and dance – which of course was perfect, since many of their friends and Brian are stage performers in musical theater! These folks can dance!

The sweetest moment of the day had to be when Brian saw Brianna for the first time! He just could not hold back the tears, he was just so happy to sharing this day with his wonderful bride.

Congrats to you both! Enjoy the show!

Sometimes when things don’t work out on the first try, the second try is ends up being better than we ever expect! So when the groom’s boat did not come in when expected, and the couple ended up having an October wedding instead of an August wedding, it all worked out just beautifully! Though the day in Port Gamble started out rainy and windy, soon the sun came out and the fall colors just glowed — along with the bride!
What an amazing couple these two are – especially when they are together! They just sparkle. Add in the vintage Port Gamble church and the beautiful reception hall at the Hood Canal Pavilion, decorations and organization by Karen Guyt from Studio G, always amazing food from Essence of the Thymes, and beautiful music from DJ Z and you all you need for a spectacular fall wedding.

Zach and Allison met in junior high school and were buddies for the next few years.  They dated on an off, and finally got serious. But it still took Zach 7 years to pop the question! So here there were, on a beautiful Saturday in July, saying I do in front of family and friends! Allison was emotional and Zach could not stop smiling! It was a beautiful thing to watch!  The Red Cedar Farm in Poulsbo was the perfect backdrop to their perfect day! Touches of  pink, white, and ivory flowers dotted the reception room, the arbor, and even the driveway up to Farm. The girls wore various shades of pink, while the boys donned khaki trousers with suspenders.  Hand written signs pointed the way and left messages for the guests. It was homespun, yet elegant- and just beautiful!

Fox Island Chapel WeddingKris and Lori celebrated their 20th anniversary by getting married! The change in our state law allowed them to finally say “I do”! What a beautiful wedding it was! We have known this couple for several years and it was as if they were falling in love all over again. It was so sweet to see calm, cool, and collected Lori be nervous just before the ceremony, and to see the room filled with love and support for the couple.
The wedding took place in the Fox Island Chapel. The rain cleared, and a beam of light illuminated the chapel just as they exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful thing!
We wish them all the best for the next 20 years and beyond!

I had been looking forward to  Lerian and Eddie’s  wedding for so long! I just knew Lerian was going to be a beautiful bride. And Eddie – what a sweet heart! He is just adorable, and so funny! Sure enough – the wedding was beautiful, the weather was wonderful, and Lerian was gorgeous! The hoopla started with the ladies getting ready at the Hampton Inn and the guys getting ready at the Fairmount Inn in Bremerton. The ceremony was at the church in Jackson Park and then back to Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside for the reception. The ceremony had all the traditional trappings, as did the reception. So many friends and family were involved in the ceremony. What fun!

Lerian and Eddie are such a wonderful couple – so easy to work with and so fun to be around. I wish I could have been there!

Thanks so much to Saleina Epperson for stepping in for me at the last moment due to an emergency. It is awesome to have other photographers around that have your back! I have to admit, I was a bit jealous as I went through the images created by Ned Ahrens and Salenia, of the day. It looks like I missed an awesome day!

Congratulations Lerian and Eddie! Gorgeous Kitsap Conference Center Wedding

It was so fun to photograph little Logan and her mom and daddy. Logan is still pretty little for her age so she fit very snugly in her daddy’s arms and is quite the contrast to he tattoos. I love it when we can incorporate some of the family heritage into the photos as we did with the red scarf and dad’s tattoos. It makes the images so much more personal. Such a sweet little girl and fun little family! Congratulations to you guys!

AJ and Tremal had a beautiful wedding despite the rain, wind and even a little snow last week. The two were not quite used to the chill in the air, since they came up from a much warmer Texas, but they managed to keep each other warm for some fun photos with the Christmas lights.
Congratulations to Tremal and AJ!
