It was such fun to photography Susie and Jeff’s wedding at Farm Kitchen in Port Gamble near Poulsbo. Susie was one of my photography students about 10 years ago so I know her pretty well and know some of her bridal party as well. I love connecting back with students and seeing how they are doing, and being at their weddings is just awesome. I feel like one of my own is getting married! Susie was so beautiful and Jeff was so sweet. It was a great night! Congratulations to you both!
Another summer day has come and gone away and along with it, another wonderful wedding at Kiana Lodge. Kiana is such a great wedding venue. Every season it is just beautiful! This summer day belonged to Kaitlin and Lukas and their families. The couple now lives in Massachusetts, but came back to Poulsbo to celebrate their wedding. It was great fun for me as I new half the bridal party since they were all former students of mine from North Kitsap High School. I love seeing them grow and start their families. Brings a little tear to my eye! Thanks Lukas and Kaitlin for having us at your wonderful wedding in the Pacific Northwest! We loved it! Here is a sneak peak at the album I am designing for them.
Check out the awesome album I just designed for Angela and Nick. The couple had an awesome wedding in Ollaha at Angela’s family home. It was a beautiful setting and a beautiful wedding and they both had such beautiful families. It was just an amazing day and evening. Good luck to the couple!
I just had to show you the guest book I just made for Tym and Ellyshia. The book has 30 pages, 15 are photo pages and 15 are for guests to write you messages. I used photos from their engagement session. This book also works great for senior signing books and is a great way to get all the extra photos you love put together in one book. The books come in about 15 cover choices, but I love this suede like red cover. I used the same cover for my own guest book for our anniversary party last month and for Angela and Nick’s engagement session. It is so soft and smooth! YUM!
Just a couple of weeks ago, we photographed Tanya and Chris’s beautiful and fun wedding at Kiana Lodge near Poulsbo. It was a beautiful day and they made sure everyone had a great time. There was a bouncy house for the kids (and the adults) movies, a bonfire, and of course, a lovely wedding. Here are just a few of the many pages I designed for their album. Enjoy!
We are excited to announce our new photo studio in Poulsbo. We are having our Grand Opening open house on Saturday the 17 from noon to 7:00. Please stop by and say hi. We are upstairs above the Dancing Brush downtown. Look for the stairs between the Dancing Brush and the Kitchen Karosel. The studio is small, but just big enough for meeting clients, and rainy day sessions. We will be open by appointment. We will be doing all our maternity sessions and newborns there as well. We will also be offering photography classes for adults soon. We are looking forward to being part of the downtown Poulsbo community.
Finally, the albums I have been designing for the last few months are starting to roll in. I got three of them just yesterday. They are sooooooo gorgeous! I love them. I love this manufacturer. They do such nice work. Of course, I am pretty proud of the layout and color, too! I work hard to make these books look this good. If you want to see some of the typical layouts I create go to my site to see a few. Most of our packages include both the big book and two smaller clone (parent) books. The little ones are the same pages, just smaller. Here is a peek at one of the sets of books that just came.
My favorite delivery guy just delivered the album I designed for newborn, Nate and his parents. A couple of months ago, I photographed Nate’s mommy in her last weeks of pregnancy. Then I photographed newborn Nate in his first couple of weeks of life. After Nate’s parents picked out their favorite photos from both sessions I designed this wonderful album for them. I love the way it turned out. They wanted a warm sepia tone throughout, and it goes so well with the ostrich cover they chose. I took lots of close ups of the book so you can see the quality of craftsmanship of the Kingston Albums. I use Kingston for many of the wedding albums I design, as well. They ROCK!
