Port Gamble in the winter is still a beautiful place for a wedding. The New England style church is one of my favorite in the area. So I was looking forward to another wonderful wedding and Derek and Perryn’s big day did not disappoint! What a sweet couple! They were high school sweethearts, stayed together through college and finally after seven long years, were tying the knot. Both are pretty laid back, so it was a simple and sweet wedding and reception. Essence of the Thymes cooked up a great dinner, Diamond Custom Floral did a beautiful job with the flowers and Port Gamble Weddings supplied a beautiful venue and a beautiful day. One could hardly ask for more!
Congratulations to Derek and Perryn!
As usual, don’t forget to check out the slide show.

It was a dark and stormy day, but that did not dampen the spirits of Keelia and Anthony as they prepared for their wedding last week. These two high school sweethearts had waited a long time for their big day and even a lot of rain wasn’t going to slow them down now! Other than the rain, it was a beautiful wedding at the Kitsap Conference Center at Harborside. Anthony wore a grin most of the night, while Keelia fought back tears during their vows. It reminded me a bit of myself as I listened to Ned say his vows years ago. Very sweet!
Purple was the color of the evening, and 1000 purple cranes in honor of Keelia’s Japanese Grandmother, created a beautiful background behind the couple as they had their first meal as man and wife.
The rain was coming down hard most of the night, but it cleared up just in time for a couple of outdoor photos in the evening.
Check out the high lights in the slideshow! Congrats to the couple!
