We were a bit surprised when Rylee called just 9 days before her wedding to ask if we could be her photographers. That just doesn’t happen too often! But Rylee works with Ned at King County, and her wedding was on a Monday – and she happen to know that Ned only had one appointment that day and that it likely could be changed! Now I was intrigued! This was one determined young lady! I was even more interested when she said the wedding was a small family affair at an ocean side cabin near Kalaloch. I had not been there in awhile and the thought of getting a shot of a beautiful bride on the beach with her groom was just the motivation I needed, so of course we said yes! I am so glad I did! Rylee and Jared and their families were so friendly and awesome! And it was a beautiful wedding with a beautiful bride. Thanks so much for inviting us!

The team was all there to see DJ and Kasey say I do! The couple plays on a softball team and the team spirit was definitely in the air! The guests filled the air with chants of “Al, Al, Al” as they encouraged Kasey’s dad to give a toast! The group had a great time celebrating with the newlyweds and their amazing families. They are so lucky to have such a great group of supportive friends and family!
I loved that the wedding colors were the same purple of the wild flowers blooming on the hills of Gold Mountain Golf Course. It was just beautiful! As usual, the food was wonderful, and the setting beautiful. Gold Mountain is just an amazing location for a wedding!

Zach and Allison met in junior high school and were buddies for the next few years.  They dated on an off, and finally got serious. But it still took Zach 7 years to pop the question! So here there were, on a beautiful Saturday in July, saying I do in front of family and friends! Allison was emotional and Zach could not stop smiling! It was a beautiful thing to watch!  The Red Cedar Farm in Poulsbo was the perfect backdrop to their perfect day! Touches of  pink, white, and ivory flowers dotted the reception room, the arbor, and even the driveway up to Farm. The girls wore various shades of pink, while the boys donned khaki trousers with suspenders.  Hand written signs pointed the way and left messages for the guests. It was homespun, yet elegant- and just beautiful!
