Kelsey is very detail oriented and she and Jacob had a hand in every detail of their wedding making the day very personal to them. Jacob even brewed and labeled his own beer for the occasion. There were several reminders of loved ones who had passed and many of them were so sweet, it was hard to keep my eyes dry! Kelsey must have been doing DIY projects for months! The weather was beautiful. The sunset was fabulous and the couple were grinning from ear to ear all night! So sweet! Congrats to you guys. Enjoy the photos and the slide show.

Joanna and Peter had such a sweet wedding last weekend in Allyn Park near Belfair in Mason County. Joanna’s son was so proud when he walked his mom down the isle! He was just grinning from ear to ear! So adorable! The three of them make a really cute little family. The wedding was short and sweet, and soon after their first kiss the Lester Murphy Band had the place rockin’! It always amazes me how fast the evening goes! So much love and fun, the evening just flies by! These two ended the night by sending off several wish lanterns with their friends and family. What a cool thing to do. I will totally recommend the idea to future brides. Enjoy the shots below and don’t forget to take a look at the slide show.

Dan and Heather’s real first date was a hockey game over eight years ago. Since that day, they built a sweet life together, and after having the sweetest little boy and little girl, they finally tied the knot. It was a wonderful day – filled with friends and family. The weather was great. There was a smile on every face! It was beautiful.

Ned and I have been friends with Heather’s parents for years and her little sister spent many, many nights at our house on overnights with our daughter. Heather is like family for us, so it was hard not to shed a few tears of my own when she tearfully said her vows. The officiant was a very close family friend, known to the kids as Grandpa Mike. He surprised Heather and Dan with a hand fasting ceremony that included the kids. So sweet! We are so happy for the two of them. Congratulations to the whole family. I have included some of my favorite shots. Don’t forget to take a look at the slide show.

Ned and I have known Heather since she was a little girl. Her family and ours have been friends for years. She  used to babysit for us! Now all grown up with kids of her own, it was an honor for us to photograph her wedding to a great guy! When they talked to us about the wedding almost a year ago, Heather told me she wanted to do a “day after” photo session in the water. I was totally on board so when she mentioned she might jump in the sound in her dress today, I told her I would be there! This afternoon was warm, the company was laid back and so the dip was on!  Once Dan saw her in the dress, he was on board too. It started out as just a toe, then things got a little hot, and suddenly Dan was diving in with Heather right behind him. What a wonderful, fun couple! These are just a few from today. I’ll have some from the wedding up later. Congrats to Dan and Heather. We are so happy for you both!
