We are looking forward to the upcoming wedding show season and it starts full on the first weekend in January. We will be representing the Kitsap Penisula and it’s great wedding vendors in the Kitsap Peninsula Visitor and Convention Bureau’s booth at the Seattle Wedding Show on January 8th at the Convention Center and then we will have our own booth at the West Sound Wedding Show on the next day, Sunday.

It is great to have such a great wedding show with awesome wedding vendors right here in Kitsap. So for all those that don’t want to schlep over to Seattle, come meet Kitsap Peninsula wedding professionals at the 17th annual premier West Sound Wedding Show on Sunday, Jan. 9 from 10 am to 4 pm at the Kitsap Conference Center in Bremerton, near the ferry dock. You can see the newest wedding gowns and tuxedos worn by local models with gowns courtesy of Brides Against Breast Cancer. Brides may register at the door to win prizes, including a great one from us!
Bring a non-perishable food item for the Bremerton Foodline, and get $1 off your ticket at the door. The show is presented by South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine and sponsored by Kitsap Conference Center and Kitsap Peninsula Visitor & Convention Bureau and the Kitsap Sun. See your there! Winter weddings are so much fun. I love the colors– and the challenge. Will it rain? Will it snow? Or will it just be freezing cold? It wasn’t much of a surprise that last week’s wedding would be a wet and cold one! But Stephanie and Andy are such a hot couple, it was hard to tell if you could see their breath or if they were just so hot they were steaming! They had so many friends and family in their huge wedding party, they were just surrounded with warmth and love. It was a good night. Everyone had a great time. And besides marrying a great girl, Andy got his Crown Royal fountain. He had a very good night! Congrats you two!
Enjoy the slide show.

Bob and Cheryl first felt that spark on a long car trip to Ritzville for a church event earlier this year. They knew it was something special and it didn’t take Bob long to propose. When I first met them, I was a little surprised when he told me they had only been dating 4 months. But then I remembered my own experience. I had only been dating Ned 3 week when I just knew this was the one, and here we are almost 32 years later, still together! So when you know, you know. Sometimes love is like a lightening bolt and sometimes it just sneaks up on you. It was so fun to see so many friends and family gather to support these two. Congratulations Bob and Cheryl.

We have been so good all year, so we thought it was time for something a little naughty! We are introducing our new offshoot – Oh La La Boudoir Photography just in time for you to book a session in time for a fun and flirty Christmas present for your guy! Oh La La Boudoir will have its own website by the end of the weekend-ohlalaboudoir.com.

We are launching our new project on Tuesday, December 7 at our studio. We will have an open house from 6:30-8:30 with prizes and gift bags for the first 30 people. We have great partners for our event- Bella Bella Cupcakes, Ish Vintage Clothing, Susan and Amy from Mary Kay, Red & Me custom jewelry and stationary, and Boot Camp Diva. Wardrobe stylist Collette Jones will give tips on what to wear and our makeup artists will “do” your eyes. Come find out what boudoir photography is all about. Join the fun.

Here are a few shots from our boudoir photography party at the Alexis Hotel in Seattle.
