I love the fall. I love the crispness, the clothes, the colors, and in Port Gamble, it just seems extra beautiful! Amy and Jeff invited me along with them to play in the leaves with their little one. I had such a great time with them playing in the leaves and then later in the sand at Point No Point in Hansville. Oh to be little again! Or even, have little ones! They are so darn cute, and full of love and life. Makes me feel good all over. Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

When Jasmine called me, she said she wanted to have their photos done by the water. They are from Michigan so all the water here in the Pacific Northwest was really different for them. So we started out our “lifestyle portrait” session by the Silverdale waterfront. They were all for it when I suggested getting a little wet, but the water temperature of the Sound in late October is pretty chilling, so we sought warmer water at Fountain Park in Bremerton. Well, I am not so sure the water was warmer, but the photos sure were hot! Here are a couple of samples from the “lifestyle” session.

Heather and Hannah braved the water for some fun “wet look” images not long ago. What fun we had. Heather got her dress from a second hand store in Tacoma for only $12. At that price, what the heck, have some fun, get a little wet. Use that homecoming dress for something besides collecting dust. Call me, let’s play!

A couple of weeks ago, I met Lindsay for a senior session at Fountain Park in Bremerton. She was a great sport and after a couple of dry shots, went all in for the “wet look” in the fountains. Despite the chill in the air, I think you’ll agree Lindsay made the “wet look” look hot! So many people have asked for this look, that I have added it to our session packages. So here it is:

“The Wet Look” (also known as “Trash the Dress”) – $140, (individual or couple)
We live in the Northwest so let’s play in the rain — or in the fountain, or on the beach, or even in a pool!
That sexy wet look is hot!! Bring your prom dress, or your wedding dress (the dry cleaners can fix that dress right back up and when are you going to wear it again anyway?), or even just a t-shirt and jeans (really good for guys!). We won’t really “trash” any dresses, but they may get a little dirty and probably really wet! We have great fountain parks, lakes and beaches in the area we can use. Lets have some fun and play in the water, or take a walk in the rain! You might get a bit chilled, but you will love your images because they will be HOT, HOT HOT!!!

The session includes:
• Custom “wet look” portrait session at a location of your choice.
• A pre-session portrait consultation to plan your session.
• One to two hours of time and artistry by an amazingly talented professional photographer.
• Unlimited wet moments plus a few “dry” portrait poses.
• Artistic post processing and basic retouching, image presentation and ordering appointment, and order delivery.
• About 20-40 images to choose from.
• On-line gallery (limited time)

So if you love walking in the rain, playing in the water, etc., Give me a call. Let’s have some fun!

Wow, October was a beautiful month! So full of color and crispness, just like Chloe, a senior from North Mason High School. We started our session with Chloe in Poulsbo with a rescue horse Chloe is in love with. Such a sweet horse! He was a great model and so much fun! Then we just had to go to Port Gamble where the leaves were turning and everything was so beautiful. On the way we stopped by a you cut Dahlia farm on Big Valley Road. What a wonderful place! So colorful. I loved the way the color in these photos turned out, so full of life, just like Chloe!
